Keep the planned routine separate from the individual results of a lifting session.
Start with the movement
Choose the correct variation and check the weight unit. A short setup note can identify the equipment.
Save actual results
Enter the weight and repetitions for each completed set. Keep warm-ups identifiable instead of mixing them into working-set comparisons.
Return to the record
Review the exercise history with the same conventions next time. Use the app’s export when you need a documented PDF or CSV copy; it does not establish restoration support.
Make the first saved session easy to check
Start with a routine containing movements you already know. Record actual weights and repetitions, keeping preparation and working sets distinguishable. If a dumbbell value is per hand, state that convention. Add a brief note only when something outside the numerical fields matters. Once the workout is saved, reopen it from history and verify one early and one late exercise so you know where your records live.
Check the phone workflow you depend on
Try correcting a set and returning to the active workout before a busy session. Inspect text size and controls on your own iPhone, and test disconnected behavior separately if it matters. The website documents the logging workflow but does not certify every iPhone configuration or full offline operation. For purchases and history limits, read the current app screens. Keep important exports independently when using data outside the app.
