Weights availability
The released listing describes monthly and yearly subscriptions. No lifetime option is promised here. Exported workout data is separate from Premium entitlement and does not establish an in-app restore function.
Put costs on the same time horizon
For a hypothetical app charging 30 per year and another charging 75 once, the nominal totals after three years would be 90 and 75 in the same currency, before price changes or taxes. This is arithmetic, not a current offer from Weights or another named app. Compare equivalent feature access and platforms first. A cheaper headline does not settle the question if it excludes the history or export workflow you need.
Understand what a purchase does not promise
A one-time payment is not proof of perpetual compatibility, unlimited hosting or a guaranteed future development schedule. A subscription is not proof that every future feature will be included. Read the current product terms and the exact purchase sheet. Keep a copy of your important exported records independently where practical. For Weights, inspect the current in-app options; do not rely on older articles claiming a lifetime plan exists.
