INSIDE WEIGHTS
Previous workout values, with context
Use previous-session autofill as a starting reference, then record the actual sets you complete today.
The released Weights listing documents last-session autofill. Previous values reduce repeated entry, but today’s log should always show today’s completed weight and repetitions.

Start from a comparable session
A previous result is useful when the exercise, unit and setup match. Check the movement variation and any equipment notes before interpreting the suggested values. A machine displaying the same number as another machine does not make their loads equivalent. Consistent exercise names help you recognize when a past entry is actually relevant.
Treat filled values as editable context
The previous workout is a reference, not evidence that you completed today’s sets. If the prior result was 30 kg for 10 repetitions and today you completed 8, enter 8. Likewise, correct a changed weight. Saving old numbers unchanged would produce a neat chart but an inaccurate training record.
Explain a meaningful change once
A brief note such as “different machine” or “moved later in session” can explain why the result differs. Avoid rewriting the full workout in the notes field; use the structured set entries for weight and repetitions. Keep notes focused on details the numerical fields cannot capture.
Review before drawing a conclusion
One changed set does not by itself establish a trend. Review several comparable entries and their context. The public listing also mentions Next Set guidance, but this page does not assert an adaptive coaching algorithm or a guaranteed progression rule. Your record should describe completed performance rather than a recommendation you did not follow.
A record you can interpret later
Illustrative entries only. These numbers are not a training recommendation.
| Field | Previous reference | Today’s actual entry |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | 30 kg | 30 kg |
| Repetitions | 10 | 8 |
| Note | Usual setup | Exercise performed later |
Common questions
Is an autofilled set already completed?
Treat it as a reference. Record and confirm the performance you actually completed.
Does a previous weight tell me what I should lift?
No. A past value provides context; it does not establish a suitable load for your current circumstances.
